COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:
Exploring Inventory Management

How to effectively and efficiently manage your inventory. ​

This course will focus on optimizing your product assortment and inventory strategy by determining the optimal numbers for frames, vendors, price points, and subcategories to ensure a balanced, effective mix. It addresses improving turn rate through thoughtful product and brand selection, clear pricing strategies, and ongoing inventory correction. Emphasis is placed on setting inventory goals, knowing how and when to reorder, and maintaining the ideal assortment through disciplined ordering and strong merchandising practices.

Managing Vendor Relationship

Learn how to maximize and manage vendor partnerships to drive your business performance

This course examines how to effectively structure your relationships with reps. It emphasizes evaluating the value that each product brings, aligning your brand offerings with business needs, and building strong partnerships through clear vendor agreements and ongoing evaluations. We will also highlight the importance of collaborating closely with your lab, and discuss how leveraging buying groups can strengthen purchasing power and operational efficiency.
